This dynamic, fast-paced company has a F/T position available immediately for an experienced receptionist to join a team of four professionals. The position requires an effective communicator who can multitask with strong attention to detail and display grace under pressure. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to perform successfully in a collaborative, high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Excellent salary and benefits. Responsibilities are varied — in addition to handling busy phones and greeting visitors, this position assists several administrative departments with data entry and general business tasks.

It is our primary objective in Reception to provide the tools and services each CEB staff member needs to do his/her job effectively and to provide these services in a timely, pleasant and professional manner. The most important services we provide are ensuring that all calls are handled promptly and accurately and that guests are treated according to the Corporate Executive Board standard of service excellence.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure calls are handled efficiently and all guests are treated according to the CEB standard of excellent customer service
• Professionally process incoming and internal calls according to protocols (without exception)
• Provide Conference Room and Meeting support, including booking meeting rooms, coordinating AV equipment, assisting with catering, etc.
• Identify areas for process improvement and utilizing technology and other resources to help the reception team better serve callers and guests
• Acquire a comprehensive knowledge of functions and structure of departments in and throughout the firm
• Serve as liaison with staff in other departments and proactively update departmental information
• Handle routine administrative and business tasks and participate in special projects which support various departments across the firm, including Support Services, Finance, Talent Management, and Meetings

Desired Experience/Skills:
• Friendly and positive demeanor; team player who enjoys interacting with people
• Exemplary customer service skills and the ability to accommodate different situations and temperaments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all departments within the firm, senior management and a wide variety of external VIP member contacts and service vendors
• 2-4 years business experience as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant highly desirable
• Liberal arts majors are strongly encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated professionalism (time management, appearance, dependability) and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and the ability to perform under deadline pressure
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities
• Strong computer skills (keyboard proficiency and experience with MSOffice)
